| It is very important to mix solutions inside the well of
microtiter plate during high-throughput screening to prevent significant
variation in the experimental results. The mixing of solutions in 384-well plate is satisfied by plate shaker, however small quantities and viscosity of solutions make it difficult to mix solutions completely in 1536-well plate. This device does not agitate the microtiter plate itself, but mixes solution by rotation and revolution. Mixing is completed in 1536-well plate when the rotational centrifuge force is put on vertical and horizontal directions simultaneously. Moreover, it absolutely removes minuscule bubbles which are impossible to do with a general centrifuge. |
